Lookit what I found!

I had basically forgotten I had a blog. I surely didn't expect it to still be up when I did remember I had one. It's only been about like  six years since I wrote anything on it... Oy! Maybe I will attempt to take it up again. I need an outlet for my whining and stuff, especially since I have so much time on my hands recently. This whole year has been a mess, with my herniated/ruptured disk, nerve damage in my leg, mostly dead kidney and accompanying stones, anxiety issues rearing their ugly heads and a general lack of mobility. Since I don't have a time frame for when I will be up and at em, I might as well put some words here to document my time.

I think I'm going to start using this to chronicle my attempt to get healthy. I don't really want it on my MySpace page, and I know no one really reads this since i never use it. So that works for me.

I went to the doctor on June 17th to get started on my anxiety meds again. I've been depressed for a while and really avoiding some things. I've been sleeping in in the mornings and neglecting my housework and not really being the best of mom's.

I went back on the Lexapro. So far I've been lightheaded and dizzy. Three days of pills, three nights of talking head. I've not slept very well at all. I've also got a sinus infection so that doesn't help any. And 7 has been snoring really loudly and not breathing, which always keeps me awake. I'm terrified that he's just not going to start breathing again.

Anyways, on the physical front, I weighed in at 332 at the doctor's appointment. I'm going to set a goal for a month from now to weigh 10 lbs. less. I will accomplish this through drinking more water, eating when I should, and swimming 3 times a week.

Kurt Browning is cool. He just did a skating segment on Good Morning America or something like that. The cool part was that he skated to a Barenaked Ladies song. Way to go Canadians!

D - Drink Of Choice? Milk or Diet Coke. I can't stand drinking water. Gah!
E - Essential Item You Use Everyday? Toothbrush. I even get up in the middle of the night to brush my teeth in case 7 wants to kiss me. That way I never have bad breath.
F - Favorite Color? Currently it's red, with pink, yellow and black close behind.
G - Gummy Bears Or Worms? I like gummy worms since you can suck them up like spaghetti.
H - Hometown? Bakersfield, California. Affectionately known as B-town, Bakoville, and the Armpit of California.
I - Indulgence? Sneaking some fast food when I'm out by myself every now and then.
J - January Or February? February. It's when my husband's birthday is, my wedding anniversary, my in-law's anniversary, Valentine's Day, my brother's birthday, etc.
K - Kids & Their Names? Oliver and Charlie, my fantastic son and daughter. These are some of the coolest kids you will ever meet.
L - Life Is Incomplete Without? My family. I made 7 move out here from Texas because I couldn't bear the thought of being away from them.
M - Marriage Date? February 29th. Leap Year Day baby!
N- Number Of Siblings? 2. Older brother, younger sister.
O - Oranges Or Apples? Fuji apples. Not only are they crisp and sweet, you get to say FUJI! (Japanese accent)
P - Phobias/Fears? Everything. The dark, the toilet hand (good one Ken), spiders, anything my mind can imagine.

I'm sick. I hate being sick. I was just sick, and now I'm sick again. I hate Bakersfield for making me sick. I hate my body for being a wuss. I've got a sinus infection again. I just finished up my antibiotics for one about 4 days ago, but I guess it wasn't enough to actually get rid of it. Luckily I've got a doctor's appointment on Monday to talk to him about my anxiety issues, I'll just get a prescription for some more meds too. I just need to make it through the weekend and find a sinus medication that won't make me crazy or sleepy. 7 is going to be out of town and I don't want to go psycho on the kids.
